I'm going to the match this Saturday to see the Silverbacks play FC Miami and quite possibly the "ghost" of Romario, if he's still with them. I'll give a report when I get back. As for the ownership group, they don't have mega-millions but they appear to be doing what one should do without unlimited resources, they only expand to the extent that thay can financially sustain it. There plans are to expand to 15,000 in 4 phases, they are currently at Phase II. If USL 1 is all they can support, then they stay at that level, if the demand is there. They could seek additional backers and push for MLS, but this decision is at least 3 or 4 years away. This is basically what all of us have been recommending that pro soccer do, right?
