I meant the current set up is awesome with coach
K. Barca
resembled the current US side and Red Bull
resembled China.
Yes, the attitude is totally different. I like the
team. It is not
all "megastars". Have some role players and to fir coack
K's system.
We finally realized we could not just literally
"throw" a bunch of
"all stars" together for a few weeks and dominate like
we used to.
We now realize we need to send a TEAM to compete. A team
that
wants to be there and one that can be together for a
while to actually
resemble a national team.
However, what it clearly shows is that if we do
these steps the right
way, there is still nobody out there to even give us a
worry. We also
do not even have to use our "best" talent to do it. Just
need commitment,
good coach, (due to international rules and the zone, I
believe college coaches
are better for the men's national team) and to have a
team together for
a while and we'll get back to
domination.
Thank goodness some players
and coaches are showing some pride for a change.
We got hundreds of players
in the NBA that can be put together for such a team.
They do not have to be
the "elite" players. We can still dominate with them if
allowed to play together
for a stretch.
