A couple of players who have really caught my, and a of others',
attention. Cam Weaver for the Sounders has been astonishing this
season, particularly for a rookie. I'd think he'll be gone to the MLS
next season--an utterly dominate player in the air (like a man against
children). Galinda, on the other hand, is the Cuban who defected a
couple of years ago in Seattle. He was easily the best player on the
field when Cuba and the US played at Qwest Field. The Sounders have him
for the moment, as he's just trying to get his feet under him, get
legal (as in paperwork), and get his finger on this new cultural pulse.
However, any MLS club would do well to get this guy. He's not young (27
or so), but plays the game at a totally different level than anyone on
the field. Fast on fast. Skills that are other-planetary at times. He
could have had a hat trick against the US here, but for a bad break or
two. He's an electrifying player to watch. Here's a link to last
