I live in LA now and that seems to be the problem here as well.  I don't think we stand much of a chance with first generation immigrants.  We might have a better chance with their kids who grow up familiar with the sport but are more Americanized and might gravitate to a local team rather than a distant one in Mexico who they may rarely get to see live.
