[nas] Worldwide Soccer Manager - Rankings?

In the Worldwide Soccer Manager game that I am playing
now, Mexico is the #1 ranked team in the world...
ahead of Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, and
Italy.

I know our neighbors didn't do GREAT in Germany, but
my boundless hatred for that team does not allow me to
truly see how good they are.

My opinion of them is that they are good at "midfield
masturbation", for lack of a better term... really
pushing the ball around the middle of the park and
keeping posession well, but not really doing too much
at the scoring end, and allowing mental lapses to lead
to scores against.

That's my 'GO-USA-SCREW-MEXICO-I-HATE-THAT-TEAM'
opinion and view... but how good are they REALLY...
and how could my game have them ranked 30+ points
ahead of Brazil?!?
