Why do you think that?

Personally, I'm encouraged by the fact that while they don't necessarily go the way of the single entity, they are planning to use much of the business infrastructure that is already in place for soccer.  The quality USL SSS (like Rochester) seem to be a positive in this regard.  I really like the SUM note - that should help with cross-promotions in addition to leaning on the experience of people who have sold soccer for a number of years.

That's curious.

The Washington Freedom announced a couple months ago that they'll start
playing in the W-League next year with their home games being at the
Maryland Soccerplex, in the far northwestern suburbs of DC.

I figured they were joining the W-League because there was no hope of the
WUSA being resurrected.
