Want to develop skillful players? then we need to relook at how youth
teams are trained. skills are not taught, instead all I see are
tactics, and old fashioned "boot and run" English style soccer.

Youth teams need to spend more time on small scale tactics ie 2v1, 3v2
and 1v1 as well as developing ball skills.

I hate watching  a game where a player is unable to stop a cross as it
comes in, but instead watches the ball rebound off of them.
