I'm not scoffing, just being skeptical... at any rate
here are some of my concerns past the knee jerk
response I originally had:

1. It is my opinion that in the Southeast there is a
sizable Central/Latin American population that may or
may not be Guatemalan.

2. It is also my opinion that they are more likely, on
the whole, to be more willing to trek from faraway
places (read: 500+ miles away) to see their team in
the middle of the week.

3. While I think Birmingham has done an admirable job
in the past I have visions of US-Honduras at RFK
dancing through my head especially after driving up
I-95 from SC up to DC and seeing many car loads of
Hondurans with NC plates heading to the same place.

Those are my opinions, and if Legion Field is going to
have a 40-50k, or whatever capacity is for the place,
kind of crowd I think we'll see a shift in the 80% or
95% pro US. I'll take 50-50 and be ecstatic if its
60-40 but I still see this being a potential fiasco on
the scale of that day in RFK. All that being said, I
hope to figure out a way to weasel out of work to get
to Alabama.
