[nas] UEFA Ruling...could affect yanks big time

  Do not know how many have been following this;
but UEFA IS going to limit the number of foreigners
on a team for ALL European club teams.  
It may or may not have an effect on yanks; but it could
cause teams to pass on a yank?

  The proposed measure states that squads with 22
players have to have a minimum of 8 players from
THEIR OWN YOUTH ACADEMY.

  Note: this means if yanks are in an academy for
Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U etc- they are not considered
"foreigners."  I believe this is correct?

 This could, I suppose, lead to more younger talent
being snatched up at younger ages to the academies
and that is not a bad thing;  but it may affect MLS?


  Anyway, expect this to come down in the next couple of years.
