Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Harrison is going to make the list for '06. :-(With no disrespect to the Metros supporters (who are probably more tired of this than anyone else), I'll believe that a Metros stadium is going to happen when there are ushers tearing tickets for opening day. They've strung everything out for so long that it seems like the FireHouse (in Chicago, a town not known for an efficient and impartial political structure) is going to be open and hosting games and the Metros will still be "60-90 days" from announcing something firm.
Good to see Colorado on that list. Wasn't RSL making noise about having a SSS in the next few years?I'd forgotten about Colorado - so that would add another to the master list. RSL was making noise, but then so were the Indiana Blast, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and...well you get the point. My litmus test for finally believing in a stadium is shovels in the ground - or at the very least a signed, ink-dry legal document starting the process. The Metros have a higher standard because they've taken so friggin' long and backtracked so many times.
Didn't somebody say a stadium was promised to United as part of the relocation of the Expos? In '07?Any actual scoop on DC?
