Actually, I have two questions.

1) Does the new "Football Manager 2005" have MLS
players, and if not, has an MLS patch been created?

No, MLS is in this version.

2) What's the difference between "Football Manager
2005", "Championship Manager 5", and "Worldwide Soccer
Manager 2005" (the US release name)?
No difference. Worldwide Soccer Manager is the US name for the game, which will be released in the US on 11/30.
Actually, "Football Manager" and "Worldwide Soccer Manager" are written by Sports Interactive, the same company who've done all previous versions of "Championship Manager", but is now being published by Sega instead of Eidos. CM5 is being written by an all-new programming team for Eidos, who retained the CM name when Eidos and SI split.

FM and WSM reportedly will have subtle differences in terms of the play-by-play text commentary for WSM done in more "American" terms, e.g., "The players look all confused" instead of "the players are all sixes and sevens". There's also rumors that WSM will incorporate more of MLS' "rules", i.e., SuperDraft, the league is responsible for all player contracts, SI/TI/P40 rules, etc. I guess we'll see. (I just ordered a copy of FM today.)
