I'll never understand why Claudio doesn't get the respect he deserves.

For better or worse, Bruce rates him as highly as I do. If he can physically
make it up and down the field and he wants to play, he will be there -
period. There is no doubt in my mind about this. His birthday is 7/20/73, so
I guess that would make him about 33 for the World Cup.

I will agree that injuries are an issue, and the he probably has more miles
on him than most 33 year olds. No one can say that he will be healthy and
ready to go in 2006 (but we can't say that about Landon either). However,
there is no way that he will retire before then unless it is injury related.
