One of the big issues here is the quality of the alternative natural
surface. For example, there are pitches in Sweden and Norway that are
demonstrably worse than field turf 9-10 months out of the year no matter
what you try to do. The climate just doesn't lend itself to grass.

I would be very disappointed if Real Madrid or Man U went to field turf.
However, if some of the clubs in Scandinavia and extreme southern Europe go
to it I think I would be better than what they currently have.
