I still think it makes sense, it would also save a lot of money spent on TV dollars by avoiding the 30 minute mini-game that has to follow tied aggregate scores.
I'm also in favor of six teams in the playoffs instead of eight to make the regular season more important. First round games would be Wed-Sat deals (Conference winners get a bye), next round, Sat-Sat, and then the finals a week later.

Doesn't that increase the advantage for finishing higher during the
