Bob Bradley and/or Dave Sarachan will be on that list and Ellinger might
be as well.
We'll have to see how Klinsman works out with Germany before considering
him and I don't see him taking the US job.
I wonder if Frank Yallop would consider the job if he does well with
Canada, but simply can't get them to compete where they need to be. He'd
be an intriguing choice I think.
Whoever gets that job needs to understand American players. They're a
little different than those overseas and the development system here is
not what it is overseas so this person would have to know the players
available to him.

Subject: [nas] Future in the Post BA era?
I know it is a few years away; however, Bruce was undecided after
this last World Cup on whether he would continue as nats manager.
I think he wanted a slot in Europe to manage and did not get a whiff..
and frankly doubt he will. If I were him, that is the last thing I
would
want- look at the shelf life of managers in Europe.
I think, as long as we do ok, Ba could have the job as long as he wanted
it-
but if he did not; then what?
Whom do we see as a worthy successor to BA?
Possible available managers "after wc 2002" :
Hiddink
Alex Ferguson (yes, that is correct)
Klinsman ? ( I just see him returning to the US someday)
Sigi Schmidt
Mooch?
Peter Nowak
Steve Nichol
????????????????????????????????
What say ye?
