I'm pretty sure that he got the first yellow from a tackle on Convey around the 10th minute, and then got his second yellow for a waist high tackle on Beasley. I think the argument from the coach was that he didn't feel the 2nd foul should've been a yellow card, but I'm almost positive both yellows were from fouls committed during play. From USSF:Misconduct Summary:
SLV – Denis Alas (caution) 8th minute.
USA – Bobby Convey (caution) 18.
SLV – Denis Alas (caution) 26.
SLV – Denis Alas (ejection) 26.
USA – Conor Casey (caution) 49.
SLV – Alfredo Pacheco (caution) 57.I'm pretty sure the 8th minute caution was from his tackle/stamp on the foot of Convey, and the 2nd was when he want with his studs about waist high against Beasley..TimP.S. My question is: Why no card to the goalkeeper for ES when he pretty clearly raised his boot on Beasley and gave him a nice cleat to the face.. He sure made it look like he tried to pull away, but he clearly lifted that foot to begin with to hit Beasley..-----Original Message-----

Subject: Re: [nas] Salvadoran send offI definitely saw the second yellow card. It was a good bit later -- maybe even a minute -- that the red came out. Earlier, somebody mentioned that the ref may have pulled out the yellow without thinking and then realized it was the player's second yellow after a bit, hence the delay
