On the original play it looked like incidental contact, when they showed the replay on the board at Gillette is when everyone noticed the deliberate kick to the face and the US team rushed the keeper like the Chiefs coming off the bench in slapshot. I believe it was Claudio Reyna who acted like all three hanson brothers at once (and not the singers either).
