U.S. VS. EL SALVADOR PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: The Midnight Riders are making plans for the weekend of September 4th as the U.S. Men's National Team takes on El Salvador in a FIFA World Cup qualifying match for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. This match (to be held at Gillette Stadium) will be part of a double-header also featuring a Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season contest between the New England Revolution and San Jose Earthquakes. The scheduled start time for the U.S. vs. El Salvador is 4:00PM EST. The MLS match will immediately follow the qualifier. TICKETS FOR U.S. SUPPORTERS: The Midnight Riders are pleased to offer discounted tickets for this historic doubleheader for only $20.00 each. This ticket is good for both the qualifier and the Revs vs. E-Quakes match that follows. This is a substantial discount over those being sold through Ticketmaster or U.S. Soccer, and is contingent upon the Riders selling at least a 100 tickets, which they hope they shouldn't have a problem doing. They hope to sell many, many more tickets than that. Please note: these are Category III, General Admission tickets that will be good for the designated U.S. supporters section (Sam's Army, USA Supporters, etc.) in Section 143 of Gillette Stadium, aka "The Fort." ***Please note that this is a standing section, and is truly general admission. So if you plan to purchase tickets for this section, you'll be expected to stand, chant, sing, and otherwise support the U.S. in a proactive fashion.*** The Riders want this section absolutely packed with U.S. supporters for this game, and as always - wear red, especially for this match where there will likely be a large number of fans supporting the opposing team. Make banners to bring, U.S. flags to display... sing loud and sing proud. Check out the following page for more information: http://www.midnightriders.com/Tickets/Tickets.htm U.S. SUPPORTERS HOTEL: The Midnight Riders have reserved a block of 20 rooms at The Fairfield Inn in Dedham for Friday/Saturday/Sunday night at $94 each night (not including a tax of 9.7%). This rate includes a full deluxe continental breakfast, (meaning not just bread and croissants). The hotel is right off the exit for Route 1 off I-95/Route 128. People can either drive down Route 1 directly to the stadium or head down 128 to 95 to Route 1, with the total travel time to the stadium being 15 minutes. The Riders have rooms available from Friday night through Sunday night (checking out Monday). or fans can stay for only two days (Friday/Saturday nights) at the same $94/night rate. Supporters interested in booking a room need to submit their request via email by no later than 12:00 Noon, August 9th. After that, the rooms will be thrown open to the general public.
