I'm sitting here, having watched some of the Champions World Tour, and I
find it interesting that once again, Americans are coming out in droves to
see a whole buttload of foreign players play basically for fun, with a few
American players sprinkled in.

Just a bit of irony.  (Yes, I know, a lot of the foreign players who played
in the NASL took it seriously.)

But I am also glad it is happening - because these Americans aren't tokens -
they are proven commodities (or at least, proven prospects worthy of being
there).  And it is good for business folk to see that for high quality
products, Americans will come see soccer.

Now if we can cover the gulf between MLS and the Champions World.....
