That's probably because the more folks know about soccer in Tulsa,
historically speaking, than Oklahoma City where the investor who owns the
CHL (?) minor league hockey team is. Oklahoma State only has a women's
soccer team in the NCAA but not a men's. Not sure about OU. Heck I didn't
even know soccer existed growing up in Oklahoma until I moved to Wichita KS
where the indoor team the Wings are, and even then, didn't even know the
World Cup was even being held in 1994 in the USA. Oklahoma is a college
football/college basketball market and it will be hard to overcome that.
That being said, if the opportunity did arise, I would apply for a job
and/or help with supporters organization in Oklahoma if indeed it ever
happened, since I'll be down there in Stillwater. Thank the humankind who
invented satellite TV!!! Otherwise, I'll be in a wasteland . . .

Oklahoma has shown that it cannot find a investor.
Although they have definetly shown they want to build
a SSS, they can't find someone to cough up the cash.

Too bad, thats a nice small market down there.
