What we have heard from Buzz Carrick (http://www.3rdDegree.net/) is that they are looking to expand the roster enough so that they can play a Sunday or Monday game with the players who didn't play on Saturday.  Right now, they are close (with 24 guys on the roster), but with another four to eight players, you are pretty much guaranteed to have a roster strong enough to play another game.

Buzz feel free to clarify what I left out or missed or got wrong.

Subject: [nas] MLS Reserve Teams Next Year!!!!

This could be HUGE.  Let's see how they decide to make this thing work (part of A-league or PSL or separate league?), but this is very, very exciting.

"MLS teams will have a reserve league system in place next year, following the model of soccer clubs around the world, which presumably will allow rosters to be expanded."
