Chivas won't be an Eastern Conference team unless they put their headquarters in 'East' LA.
Ram
ón Ramírez and Francisco 'Paco' Palencia (who is fluent in English by the by) are signed, sealed and delivered for Chivas USA after another six months (apertura championship) in Mexico Miguel Sabbah on the other hand preffers to stay in Mexico for the moment.
On another note, former Burn and Galaxy player Antonio 'Chivas" Martínez signed with Necaxa. So they now have to ex-MLS players (Daniel Hernández).
Cheers!

Roberto.

The only way I see to ballance the conferences out will be to move Dallas east; not a big deal (at least to me) but the article implies that Chivas would be an eastern conference team.

* It would make a lot of sense from a competitive standpoint. Think about it - imagine the Galaxy and Chivas in the MLS Cup Final, or given enough chance through separate divisions to stand a good chance of facing each other in the post-season? That's big-time money in the bank.
