Late night TV and sometimes I'm not sure it's soccer but... the "North American" representatives are eliminated in one night. A totally classless show by América and Cuauhtémoc Blanco at the end of the match, although the Sao Caetano players taunting the Azteca crowd after time was pretty classless as well, IMO. After the match and while Fox is running the onscreen ads you see the Caetano keeper Silvio Luiz and others throwing punches and karate kicking the América staff and/or fans while press and to a certain extent security stand and watch. A few minutes earlier, Blanco gets ejected for a lovely elbow to the head of a Caetano player which fortunately didn't land completely. This is only after the head butt he attempted a few seconds earlier failed to land or be noticed by the ref.  The winning goal by Caetano's Triguinho was sweet. On balance, more entertaining than Letterman at least :). I have more respect for Santos Laguna's effort, but they just came up a bit short on PKs.
