Víctor Garcés, the President of the Mexican First Division, announed yesterday that in the last Concacaf meeting that the Mexican League and MLS have spoken about putting together what Garcés call a Premier league involving teams from both leagues.
He thinks that the league would be a success because of the great following Mexican soccer has in the US and that MLS is looking for different ways to grow.
So far, no comment on the situation from MLS but that should change now that I've forwarded this news on.
Cheers!
Robert.
