I don't think all decisions are "pure as the driven
snow." I've covered MLB, some NCAA Division I football
and a bunch of other sports. I've seen lots of BS.
But this decision does seem to be purely for coaching
reasons. And that should be aplauded. The league is
letting the product stand for itself. Giving into
people who aren't interested in the other 239 roster
spots is just silly.
Either way, the blathering, ignorant media who only
want to see a sideshow are doing the league a favor by
continuing to kvetch. MLS Communications couldn't have
scripted it better if they tried.
