His main concern should be what is good for Freddy, not to mention what is best for DC. I think Nowak is doing an outstanding job bucking the pressure to bring Adu along slowly. What would we be saying if Adu started from the beginning, didn't do much, and the press started saying that MLS shouldn't butcher a kids youthful days by putting all of this pressure on him to perform at such a young age? Baby steps. Bring him along slowly, allow Adu to build his confidence, allow him to get used to the run of play by putting him in during the *right situations*, and let him blossom into a starter. If that takes 5 games, if that takes 15, I don't care. Nowak has already impresed me with his ability to organize DC and his handing of Adu. I'm willing to trust him to decide when Adu is ready.
