I find it inconceivable that the league has not made it clear that they want Freddy played. I find it totally without coincidence that DC United (the team I support BTW) are being nationally televised at every turn and no suggestion whatsoever has been made to play Freddy in the television brass.....in whom has a considerable investment in televising soccer. I find it naive to think that the word has not gone down to play Freddy when there are higher than average attendance for DC's matches because there are likely folks showing up JUST to see the kid. Perhaps...Peter would play him for full halves anyway, but if he was not given some pretty strong "suggestions" by the league and TV..... this would be the "STOOOPIDEST" league in the history of sport. You seem to think I see this as negative. I do not necessarily. We have a commodity now in Freddy that has generated interest all over the world and we'd be dumb not to take advantage of it.
