Jesús Martínez, president of Mexican champion Pachuca, announced yesterday that he wants an MLS franchise and also to start a soccer academy in the Boston area similar to their very successful model in their home town.
In an article in ESTO (Mexico) he wants the team headquarters to be located in Ground Zero, but it isn't clear he want to place the team there as well. (I live in NY and I don't see where that could happen in that area, so I presume he doesn't necessarily want to place the team there).
There is no mention in the article about any discussions yet with MLS.
