I'm not saying he's going to the world cup anytime soon, but he had a good season and deserves a call up.
Because a substitute has a good season as a substitute, he deserves to get a call up with our national team?
Why can't we have options? We don't have the luxury of playing the same way every game, we're not that good. We have a few quick guys, but they're all small. I think Woly's a long shot, but the guy had some great goals in clutch situations this year, and for a big guy, he's actually very fast. It's not like we have a bunch of great forwards locking up starting spots on the Nats. Give the guy a shot. Why not.We don't have many big physicaltarget forwards. McHead is aging. Woly has decent ball control, he takes people on, he puts the ball on frame, he has good positioning, he gives 100%. How many american forwards can you say that about?
That might mean our game should not be about big physical target players. It might mean our game should be about quickness and speed.
