One thing we (and anyone else on their way into a SSS soon) can point to is the level of involvement of the different SCs there.  At the beginning of the game at The HDC, there were at least three or four different groups of significant size.  I don't know if those groups are still there, but if so, dollars to donuts that is a big part of why there is such an atmosphere.

 

Granted, I doubt that Chicago, DC and Metro fans are going to have a problem with this, but here in Dallas and now for Colorado, it needs to be pointed out that this atmosphere that makes soccer more fan-responsive has a lot to do with those who actively participate in supporting the team in-game - something I wish WUSA and the WNT would pick up on.

That last part is very cool to hear from the business side of things. I wish HSG would embrace that idea NOW for Dallas – another year in Southlake oblivion before the manna of Frisco in 2005…I dream of soccer played on just green grass…
