Well, for those of you who have any remaining sympathy for Burn fans, all is
not lost.  At least for this season, with the 2-0 win tonight over the Fire,
we remain the holders of The Brimstone.

Frankly, I don't know if the owners waited until this week to fire Jeffries
to give Colin the best chance to win this game, but I'd like to think they
did - I know we had let Wagner (president of HSG) hold The Brimstone for a
while, to get a feeling of ownership and participation.

San Jose, you're welcome - now you have the opening to take control of the
Supporters' Shield.
