Ok, Yes they should ahve mentioned LA a few years ago winning the whole tamale; but that point aside, this is a real problem MLS needs to work on. Mexican teams do seem to get up to beat MLS sides. MLS needs to stop having matches with EPL sides, and concentrate on beating the sides in this hemisphere. It just seems like the MLS teams will get up for a friendly with Spurs more than they would playing an actual competitive match with a Morrelia or Monterrey? I watch these teams sometimes and believe me, they are nothing "special." There is NO REASON that KC would be bludgened like they did. No excuse for it really. It just does not seem the heart is in it? I am not saying there are not good Mexican clubs, just nothing we should fear and certainly not 5 goals better! Ridiculous. This has to change. We need to start putting some real, concerted, effort into winning against these teams south of the border. ----- Original Message ----- From: <big_dog@fastmail.fm> To: "NAS" <nas@americakicks.com> Sent: Monday, September 15, 2003 11:32 AM Subject: [nas] MLS-The Mexican Card >At the club level, success against Mexican opposition in official >competitions has been fleeting.
