Nice, fun little article. Maybe a little too jazzy for your regular paper, but who cares? Is it a bit high on color and maybe shy on soccer 'technicalities'? Sure, but it is a good read. Soccer coverage can use some flavor. I guess I'm a bit worried, though, how this same guy would write about the Bad News Burn.... ;-) As for substance, it is one game. Let's see if Clint can do it more than one game at a time. Obviously, when Mr. Show Us Your Clint is on the top of his game, he can be one of the best two or three players in the league. But since May, 2002, he hasn't been that. Too bad he won't be able to help Metro in their next USOC game - any word on discipline beyond the red card suspension? --- Original Message --- From: big_dog@fastmail.fm >Mohawk Madness >Clint Mathis resurfaces again to spark MetroStars. > >By Bob Ferguson >New York Sports-Express - Friday, September 12, 2003 > >THERE ARE MANY statistics one may analyze to figure out what's going >right >or wrong with the MetroStars this season.
