[nas] Thanks

Just a quick note.

A little over two years ago, my wife and I attended 
the WCQ v. Honduras at RFK, with many of you.  It was 
a competitive, but frustrating game.  We still felt 
good about the boys and how they were doing, but a win 
would have been nice.  Went home feeling somewhat okay.

Then, a few days later, 9-11 happened, and I thought 
about all of the friends and people I had gotten to 
know through Sam's Army - especially those who lived 
in New England, New York and DC - that I had not taken 
the time to say hello to, mostly because I assumed I 
would see you again at the next game.

Since then, I have tried to appreciate every moment a 
bit more, and wanted to take this chance to say thank 
you for your participation in this list, this game in 
this country.  I am better for having known you, and 
while we may disagree at times about which player is 
better or where we should spend our efforts for the 
game, I appreciate your point of view, your energy and 
your opinion - even if it doesn't seem like it at the 
time.
