Wait a minute - is this correct? I thought the -only-exception that MLS granted United was for a replacement for Bobby Convey. All other moves had to take place before the 20th. And, I'm not sure but it would also seem sporting for United to not have even that option, since it turns out Convey's still on the roster.

Or is there another exception being made here? Not that I mind the idea of Martins playing in MLS - he's been phenomenal for Pittsburgh this year - but my first impression is that the MLS "rules" are getting bent some more.
