Combining a few things, I have a question.

1) From Dustin's inteview with Andy on 3rd Degree
(details, see below), "The stadium, from early
designs, will be a first-class facility that will have
really no equal in the US, in terms of the facility,
the complex, where it's located in relation to things
that surround it in the community. And for that, it's
really very exciting. It's not an exaggeration to say
that it'll be the first of its kind in the US, in the
synergy that'll be created between youth soccer and
the professional team."

2) Nike, the USSF and Bradenton just expanded the U-17
internship program in Florida from 30 to 40 kids.

Question - with the new stadium having such a unique
relationship with lots of fields, etc., any chance it
could be the site of a Second Bradenton?

I wonder if Atletica (probably not) or Puma (a little
more likely, but still unlikely) or one of the bigger
soccer manufacturers (adidas?) might not try to get in
on this US soccer development thing....

So asks Drum'r Boy

Details on Dustin's interview with Andy - Dustin
Christmann, founder and former president of The
Inferno, interviewed outgoing Burn GM Andy Swift for
3rd Degree <<http://www.3rddegree.net/index.htm>>.
The $65 million Frisco stadium complex is financed
mostly through money from the Frisco city and school
district organizations and will have a series of
fields in addition to the pro stadium, and is
currently scheduled to be the site of MLS Spring
Training for seasons 2005-2007.
