[nas] [off-topic R] New soccer channel.
I think I have mentioned a few times here on NAS that we here at the
domicile in Chicago have Dish Network® dbs with the Spanish-language
channels.
On Monday, we lost a Spanish-language movie channel, 'Gran Canal Latino'
[ch. 632]. But on Thursday, it had been supplanted by "GOL TV". It looks
like Real Madrid's finances are partially behind it (There is a daily
news show about Real.).
It is showing lots of matches which haven't been shown on other channels.
The 'off-topic R' is this: Right now, it is showing [live] the 'Serie A'
Torino v. A.C. Milan match. A.C. Milan lead by 0-3 in the 2nd half. *But
the match has been suspended due to some flare throwing by A.C. Milan
supporters*. I did not view it, but it appears that the Torino GK was
struck by something hurled from the stands. Our match referee has sent
both teams back to the dressing rooms.
I did espy a promo for "American Soccer" during halftime.
If you have Dish Network® dbs, you might want to inquire about obtaining
the Spanish-language package. E-Mail me off-list if you want more
details.
