I thought we gave it a good effort, plucky losers is still the best we can reasonably expect. Ran out of gas in the second half. Maybe should have brought on a fresh midfielder earlier but IMO the options on the bench weren't that appealing, we needed another ball-winner. Italy didn't take advantage of our slow central defense as much as they could have. I was happy with how Altidore drew the penalty, maybe he has learned something in Spain.

Jozy did well to draw the PK, but has he been studying with the Italians??? Little bit of embellishment on the PK, and lots of talking/complaining/time wasting... I thought he played well, deserved to be on the field no question.

Spector: Solid

I liked Demerit in there, he did well.

Feilhaber got burnt worse today than Deuce did vs Honduras... ouch.

Overall I liked the mid-field treble of Bradley, Clark, Feilhaber.

Duece and Landon both had decent matches.

Good work rate overall, nobody stinking up the field, I think we did well. Didn't embarrass ourselves.

My one complaint - Italy's jerseys.... THAT's the new Azzurri??
