With tighter defense on Cuba's counters and better finsihing we could have won 3-0, and that's what a team with a killer instinct needs to do. So, I am happy with 3 points but expect more. We had enough possession and presence, and certainly enough opportunities, to make a bigger margin happen, Leaving ANY team a chance to equal is an inviatation to disaster - gotta put them away. ...on to the next one > Date: Sat, 6 Sep 2008 20:35:10 -0700 > From: fcfetty@yahoo.com > To: nas@americakicks.com > Subject: Re: [nas] US v Cuba [R] > > I agree with all of the below but I still don't think I felt as anxious about this result as I was about the previous match. But then, as I said post-Guatemala, I actually thought we would take them behind the woodshed and be lucky to win in Havana... too lazy to go back and look for the post, atm. ;) > > Also, that should be Jeff's cue... :) > > > --- On Sat, 9/6/08, d e <deckbreth@comcast.net> wrote: > > But, considering the > > opponent, we should've > > done better.
