I went to Azteca in June 2001, where we had a good sized group of US fans.  I enjoyed the trip very much.  Though, at the stadium, I’d recommend standing in the front of the section.  Folks in the back of the section were hit with beer, etc.  [The flanks of the section were guarded with riot police with shields, who also escorted us out of the standium afterwards.]
