I went to the 2001 qualifier in Azteca, and had a blast! There were about 200 supporters. According to reports, there were almost 500 fans at the 2005 match- Who knows maybe a 1000 this time around.  If you go, add a couple of days to do some sightseeing. The pyramids just outside the city are a must-see, every bit as spectacular was the ones near Cairo.
