Brasil is ten games into their season. Argentina finishes league play at the
end of June but start again in August, so I would assume scheduling is
difficult.
Plus I think teams that have an 'American" investment angle will be invited
first. Chivas has an interest here, Chelsea is creating partnerships with
youth development, West Ham is Yank owned. Garber and Co. are always on the
lookout for alliances, Maybe they hope the West Ham owners talk to some of
their pals stateside, sort of like Anschutz bringing Lew Wolff into the league
Soon we might see Villa or Arsenal and someday the Glaziers Man U. Probably
won't see the scousers from Liverpool for a while though thanks to Mr Hicks and
his partner Mr Gillett.
