This article lists soccer as the fifth most popular sport among children and
fifth most popular team sport among children.  I seem to remember having
numbers higher than that.  Does anybody know the real participation numbers?
What four sports could place higher than soccer?  Basketball, baseball,
football (maybe - few girls); certainly not hockey (cost prohibitive).
