Yes, best of luck even though there players taunted us after they won it. Very classy!. I will root for Wolinec (sp?) next week as Milwaukee beat Vanvuver 2-1 at home to advance to the final. I would love for John to win , he's a great guy and was not treated fairly in Rochester.
The match was a very good one and Richmond deservs much credit for breaking the Rhino's 17 game home playoff winning streak. 2nd longest shootout Ive seen in my lifetime, 9th round and down to the the Richmond keeper who beat Pat Onstad after Greg Simmons miss. A fun night depite.
On the drive home on the post game show we heard Rhino's owner Frank Deross giving a stadium deadline and tightening the screws, will be interetseting to see the next step.

What a game...that's about all I can say at the moment.
Congrats to Richmond. They deserved it. I wish them the best next
Saturday.

I'm not going to comment on the match itself. It went
to PK's. Yes, there was a red card in the 1st half
against a Rhino, but it made no difference. (a 73
minute "power play" if you will).
PK's:
Rhinos: Mladenov GOAL
Kickers: Ukrop GOAL
Rh: Zavala GOAL
K: Leckis GOAL
Rh: Lavrinenko GOAL
K: Dotsenko GOAL
Rh: Suarez GOAL
K: Goodlett GOAL
Rh: Tommy Tanner GOAL
K: Hayes GOAL
Rh: Sedgwick GOAL
K: Burke GOAL
Rh: Demmin GOAL
K: Williams GOAL
Rh: Steenkamp GOAL
K: Knight GOAL
Rh: Simmons MISS
K: Pascale GOAL
Yes, the final decision maker was keeper vs. keeper! 9
rounds. What a final!
Cheers to the Kickers! Good luck in the Final.
Kirsten
