BTW, FieldTurf is NOT the product in Naperville.  That is a much lesser
quality product called SafePlay.  SafePlay is to FieldTurf, as a Ford Pinto
is to Ferarri.

FieldTurf is the ONLY alternative to a quality grass field.  In fact I
personally would rather play on FieldTurf than 95% of the grass fields I
have ever played on.  Oh, and there are two different types of FieldTurf,
and one of which is soccer specific.(it deal with blade height)

FieldTurf is the orginal in this new wave of artificial grass.  All these
others are cheap knock-offs and are much less expensive.  FieldTurf is 3x
more expensive to install than a grass field.  But there is little
mantainance over the ten year life expectancy.
