He can make up all the excuses he wants for their loss. I would expect nothing less from him, but he has a problem.

That problem is how not to get fired for losing to the United States. I think it will be a difficult problem for him to solve, almost as difficult a problem that he had trying to get Mexico a win over the United States.

I wonder how many Mexicans committed suicide after Mexico's loss to the United States? I wonder how many middle class Mexicans lost everything they owned betting that Mexico would beat the US?

Life is good, but not for Mexico especially now.
