Well, of course. That's
the best we can do in 2002. Have you
seen what happens when we try
to pass the ball to each other?
We turn it over pretty
fast. We can't hold the ball forever,
like
Brasil or Germany. Or
Italy.
Italy has the ball control and
possession game to challenge
any team in the world to a
straight possession duel. If
they
wanted to do what Uruguay did
against Senegal in the 2nd half
(5 forwards, pinned Senegal for
48 minutes, attacked non-stop,
scored 3 goals), Italy could
probably set up the hockey power
play in the opponent's third,
and just keep the ball there for a
good 60 minutes. They have
that ability, and they choose not
to use it. Shame on them
