I noticed that too, it should have been called back.  I was also very
disappointed that no one mentioned it, you would have thought they would be
ALL over that call.  I guess maybe it wasn't in the script ;-)  Even one
English news guy I caught didn't say anything about it.  It was SO obvious.
They should have left the tournament with only one goal.
So, who gets to be the favorite with Argentina and France out?  Brazil, the
team with the easiest path to the Quarters?

Can anyone explain to me why the Argentina goal was allowed?  In addition 
to the dubious nature of the call leading to the penalty, Ortega very 
obviously stopped briefly during his approach to the ball, while Crespo 
entered the box.  By the time the ball was struck, Crespo was practically 
at the penalty spot, and was easily able to tap in the rebound.

Neither Mike Hill/Seamus Malin (during the game) nor Tommy Smythe (when 
they showed the replay during the other game) had any comment on the 
encroachment.
