  I do not know about you guys, but when we lost to Costa Rica
in Sapprissa with our shell of a lineup out there, I was not terribly
disappointed.
Why- I knew that meant Costa Rica would win the group and to be honest-
they play a nice brand of ball.

  They play in the right spirit- none of this diving, terrible tackling,
shirt pulling, niggling play. They play with flair, creativity and life.
They call themselves- Brazil of Central America, and they at least try to
play that way.  They were marvelous vs. Turkey and they AND Mexico are
doing the region proud. I will be the first to admit, that for all the
brilliant stuff
Costa Rica can produce they also can go off the boil.  I hope they keep
their mentality
 and at least get a draw int heir next match. They go through if they do.

  It is still hard for me to root for Mexico, even if it magnifies our
region....
simply because we are treated so poorly by their fans and THEY certainly
do not root for us VS ANYONE.  So, really,  I cannot force myself to root
for them.
If I were to see, or read reports to the contrary and they actually DID
somehow
support us int he WC to at least do well, then I might change my tune.
They always seem to rise in the WC and play their best footy and this
year is no exception.

    IS THIS NOT SO MUCH BETTER THAN FRANCE??????
